Had a great stay at the Seahorse this weekend! The rooms are great with cozy beds, and the pool is lovely! Great service all around, and it’s always nice to wake up right on the beach! Will definitely be coming back!
My wife and I won a trip through a raffle from my daughter’s dance studio. Firstly, they were generous enough to donate a weekend, secondly I could not have been more impressed! Their staff was very courteous and the room was ready for us upon arrival. These are individually owned investment properties, so each are uniquely different - so you will not get that corporate hotel feel. Then comes the best part- the view! For the area, I find it hard to find a better view than the Seahorse. If you are looking for a relaxing trip, with a laid back atmosphere- look no further!
Fantastic location 100’ from the water. Really nice heated pool and beach chairs to use. Employees are super friendly. Definitely a more chill vibe on Longboat Key - one of the best sunset views on earth!
Excellent Resort. Great access to the beach. The pool is excellent and updated. The sunsets are beautiful. The resort has wonderful access to restaurants, shopping and grocery store. We will return.

This is a perfect location with a condo like feel- fully equipped kitchen, free use of washing machine, dryer, and soap. Saved greatly by buying local produce at farmers market, fish market, and farm produce store and ate as well as at the best restaurants.
We had made a long weekend at the Seahorse and had a great time. Our studio room was great size for my husband and me. We loved the first floor walkout straight to the beach and spent our afternoons enjoying the heated pool.
In all honesty, I was nervous after reading some more recent reviews to arrive at this place. With this being said, it was an essentially perfect stay! We stayed in unit 218 and it was beautiful and clean and everything we needed for a week’s stay! The building has housekeeping and laundry which was a huge added bonus. The close proximity of the pool and beach access with littles was wonderful! It could have been the time we stayed, but it was very quiet. There was some construction going on, but as you drive through the area, it’s everywhere. They are still recovering from the hurricane. All of the work done up to this point though was beautiful. I would say the perfect little place to stay if you want some R&R and don’t need anything too immaculate.
